So, is the digital level ruler accurate?
In fact, the digital level ruler only has a different display method, and its principle is the same as that of a regular level ruler. The accuracy of the measurement will not be affected, and the specific accuracy is related to the precision of the digital level ruler.
However, it should be noted that unlike ordinary level rulers, the measurement accuracy of digital level rulers is affected by temperature. Generally, measurements are more accurate within the range of 20-30 ℃, and high or low temperatures can affect their accuracy.
How to calibrate a digital level ruler
Traditional handheld level rulers are usually calibrated using a standard. With the development of technology, the invention of digital level rulers has made the calibration work of level rulers simpler. Simply press the "calibration button". Below is an introduction to the calibration operation method of digital level rulers:
1. Place the spirit level on a plane that does not exceed 3 degrees (which can be compared to a spirit level) and wait for 10 seconds.
2. Press the calibration button once, and the display screen will show CAL1.
3. Rotate the digital level by 180 °, wait for another 10 seconds, then press the calibration button. The display screen will show CAL2. After about 5 seconds, the LCD screen will show "Succ" buzzer beeping three times continuously, indicating successful calibration.
4. If after calibration, the LCD screen displays three dashes "---", it indicates that the level ruler is not parallel to the horizontal plane during rotation, and calibration is not successful. Calibration can be performed again.
