Magnification calibration and solutions when using microscopes as measurements
The magnification calibration of microscope measurements refers to the commissioning and calibration of the complete set prior to the measurement of the object to be measured.
The equipment usually used is: microscope (biological, stereo or metallurgical), measurement software, light source and objective bench scale (complete set and objective bench scale).
Specific steps are as follows: adjust the microscope to the required magnification, put the objective scale under the microscope, the direction of the X direction, and then adjust the focus until the observed objective scale * clear until, open the measurement software, enter the calibration menu, the first X-direction calibration, with the software's calibration line aligned with the objective scale above the measurement line, (measurement of the calibration of the screenshot) the more the number of lines, the smaller the error, OK! After that, a dialogue box will appear, enter the actual size in the dialogue box (screenshot of measurement calibration), for example, the actual size of a line is 0.01mm, the number of lines we aligned to 10, then enter 0.1mm so that our X-direction is calibrated, and then in the object table ruler to turn the direction of the adjusted to the Y-direction, repeat the above steps until the Y-direction calibration is complete.
Note: 1, different software versions have different calibration methods, refer to the operation manual before use, the operation manual shall prevail. 2, different multiples need to be calibrated, do not use a calibration coefficient used in more than one multiples, so as not to affect the accuracy of measurement. Try to calibrate all the multiples that can be used, and then deposit them into the system, and call out the coefficients corresponding to the multiples when using different multiples.
