Maintenance measures for combustible gas detectors
The combustible gas detector is a detector that responds to the concentration of a single or multiple combustible gases. There are two types: catalytic type and infrared optical type. The catalytic combustible gas detector uses the resistance change of refractory metal platinum wire to measure the concentration of combustible gas.
Maintenance measures for combustible gas detectors:
1. Since the working environment of combustible gas detectors is generally harsh, polluting gases and accumulated dust may enter the interior of the instrument. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly clean and maintain the flammable gas detector to improve the accuracy and sensitivity of the instrument.
2. In order to ensure that the gas detector is not subject to electromagnetic interference, it is best to test the grounding of the instrument to prevent the instrument from being ungrounded or not up to standard.
3. To ensure the reliability of the instrument, it is necessary to prevent failures caused by the aging of instrument components. The system that has been in service for an extended period of time shall be replaced in time.
4. Do not use and store the instrument in a dusty or dirty place for a long time. Do not store the instrument in a hot or cold place.
5. It is forbidden to use irritating chemicals, detergents or cleaning agents with high concentration to clean the instrument. Please use a clean cotton ball dipped in a little water or soapy water to lightly test the instrument, and wipe it dry in time.
6. For different application places, different gas detectors should be selected. Places that use gas, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas should use semiconductor-type flammable gas detectors, while industrial places that emit flammable gases and flammable vapors should use catalytic flammable gas detectors.
