Common fault analysis of fixed gas detector

With the rapid development of industry, there are more and more places where human beings are exposed to harmful gases, which causes more and more harm to human beings. The repeated poisoning accidents make people clearly realize that while developing industry The importance of protecting human security. Therefore, alarms and detectors have gradually become the only protective equipment in industrial safety production.

The fixed gas detector is a common type of gas detector, which is mainly composed of two parts: the controller and the gas detector. The correct installation of these two parts can ensure its normal operation.

The common faults of fixed gas detectors are mainly caused by improper use by users, ignorance of detector performance, improper selection of equipment, construction by users not in accordance with specifications, and insufficient maintenance. The following mainly analyzes the reasons for the failure of the user to use the flammable gas detector, and at the same time proposes how to use the flammable gas detector correctly to minimize the occurrence of gas alarm failures.

1. Improper use by users

When using the gas detector, the user installs the air conditioner and heating equipment close to the combustible gas detector. When using the air conditioner and heating equipment, if the cold and warm air flow directly blows through the combustible gas alarm, it may cause The resistivity of the flammable gas alarm changes and errors occur, so the flammable gas alarm should be kept away from air conditioners and heating equipment to avoid failure caused by improper location.

2. The construction process is not standardized

Irregularities in the construction process will cause the flammable gas detector to detect failures during use. If the combustible gas detector is not installed near the equipment that is prone to leaking combustible gas, or is installed adjacent to the exhaust fan during installation, the leaked combustible gas cannot be fully diffused to the vicinity of the Gas detector detection.

If the flammable gas detector is not grounded, it will not be able to eliminate electromagnetic interference, and it will definitely affect the voltage, resulting in inaccurate detection data faults. Therefore, the flammable gas detector should be reliably grounded during construction. The flammable gas alarm and connection terminals are located in places that are prone to collision or water ingress, causing electrical circuit breaks or short circuits. Non-corrosive flux must be used for welding, otherwise the corrosion at the joint will separate or increase the line resistance, which will affect the normal detection. Do not drop or drop the detector on the ground. Debugging should be carried out after construction to ensure that the combustible gas alarm is in normal working condition.

3. Maintenance

To detect the concentration of combustible gas, the combustible gas detector must make the detector communicate with the detection environment, so it is unavoidable for various polluting gases and dust in the environment to enter the detector, and the damage to the working conditions of the detector is Objectively speaking, the working environment of combustible gas detectors is relatively harsh, and many of them are installed outdoors. Poor maintenance will lead to errors or non-detection of combustible gas alarms.

Regular cleaning and maintenance of combustible gas detectors is an important task to prevent failures. The grounding should be checked regularly. If the grounding does not meet the standard requirements, or is not grounded at all, it will also make the flammable gas detector susceptible to electromagnetic interference and cause failure.

The fixed gas detector is a new type of intelligent industrial gas analysis developed by using the principle of electrochemical or magnetic oxygen detection, using imported electrochemical or magnetic oxygen sensors combined with new single-chip microcomputer technology. According to different use requirements, different types of sensors are selected. .
