Maintenance measures for the combustible gas detector
The combustible gas detector is a detector that responds to the concentration of single or multiple combustible gases. There are two types: catalytic type and infrared optical type. The catalytic combustible gas detector uses the resistance change of the refractory metal platinum wire after heating to measure the concentration of combustible gas.
Maintenance measures for the combustible gas detector:
1. Because the working environment of the combustible gas detector is generally harsh, polluting gases and dust may enter the inside of the instrument. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly clean and maintain the combustible gas detector to improve the accuracy and sensitivity of the instrument.
2. In order to ensure that the gas detector is free from electromagnetic interference, it is better to test the grounding of the instrument to prevent the instrument from being grounded or not up to standard.
3. To ensure the reliability of the instrument, it is necessary to prevent the failure caused by the aging of the instrument components. Systems that are out of service should be replaced in time.
4. Do not use and store the instrument in a dusty and dirty place for a long time. It is forbidden to store the instrument in high temperature or cold places.
5. It is forbidden to use irritating chemicals, detergents or high-concentration cleaners to clean the instrument. Please use a clean cotton ball dipped in a little water or soapy water to test the instrument, and wipe it dry in time.
6. Different gas detectors should be used in different application places. Semiconductor-type combustible gas detectors should be used in places where coal gas, natural gas, and liquefied gas are used, while catalytic combustible gas detectors should be used in industrial places that emit combustible gas and combustible steam.
