Maintenance of gas detector
1. Check the gas flow rate, usually 30/h, if the flow rate is too large or too small, it will have a great impact on the analyzer results
2. Replace the filter paper: stop the air pump and drain the filter tank
3. Check whether there is any air leakage in the gas system. Whether the diaphragm of the weeping pump is damaged, whether the sealing ring of the sampling probe is broken, whether the four-way valve and condensate are damaged, etc.
4. Clean the sampling probe and clear the pipeline of the sampling hole
5. Check whether the condenser works normally, and usually adjust the temperature within 3 degrees Celsius
6. Check the measuring instrument room to see if it is dirty, and clean it in time.
Lifespan
The service life of the gas detector mainly depends on its main component -- the sensor.
We also know that it is impossible to have a sensor that can detect all gases and meet all requirements. The sensors used in various gases and environments are also different, which can be roughly divided into: sensors for detecting the concentration of toxic gases and sensors for Sensors that detect explosive concentrations of flammable gases.
Most of the sensors used to measure the concentration of toxic gases are electrochemical sensors, which work on the basis of electrochemical principles. The main thing that affects their life is the electrolyte. After 2 to 3 years for general sensors, the electrolyte will no longer be consumed. It works normally, so the service life of the electrochemical sensor is 2 to 3 years.
Most of the sensors used to detect the concentration of combustible gases are catalytic combustion sensors, and their service life is 3 to 5 years.
