Maintenance of the anemometer calibration and selection of the probe

Anemometer belongs to safety protection, environmental monitoring category of measuring instruments, is China's measurement law mandatory calibration of measuring instruments. In addition to the factory sales need to have the appropriate calibration report, but also according to JJG (construction) 0001-1992 "thermal ball anemometer calibration procedures" requirements of the annual periodic to the National Air Conditioning Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Centre or the China Academy of Building Research Building Energy and Environmental Testing Centre for regular calibration, and according to its issued by the legal calibration certificate of the instrument in all aspects of the adjustments in order to obtain the best working condition. The instrument should be adjusted according to its statutory calibration certificate to obtain the best working condition.

In addition to maintaining the accuracy of the daily data, the following points should be noted in the daily maintenance and use:

1. Prohibit the use of anemometers in flammable gas environments.

2. It is prohibited to place the anemometer probe in combustible gas. Otherwise, it may lead to fire or even explosion.

3. Please use the anemometer correctly according to the instruction manual. Improper use may result in electric shock, fire and damage to the sensor.

4. If the anemometer emits abnormal odour, sound or smoke, or liquid flows into the anemometer during use, please switch off and remove the battery immediately. Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock, fire and damage to the anemometer.

5. Do not expose the probe and the anemometer body to rain. Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock, fire and personal injury.

6. Do not touch the internal sensor area of the probe.

7.When the anemometer is not used for a long time, please remove the internal battery. Otherwise, the battery may leak and cause damage to the anemometer.

8. Do not place the anemometer in high temperature, high humidity, dusty and direct sunlight. Otherwise, it will lead to the damage of the internal devices or deterioration of the anemometer's performance.

9. Do not wipe the anemometer with volatile liquid. Otherwise, it may lead to deformation and discolouration of the anemometer case. If the surface of the anemometer is stained, wipe it with soft fabric and neutral detergent.

10. Do not drop or weigh down the anemometer. Failure to do so will result in malfunction or damage to the anemometer.

11. Do not touch the sensor part of the probe while the anemometer is charged. Failure to do so will affect the measurement results or cause damage to the internal circuitry of the anemometer.
