Mangofei optical and metallographic microscope operating procedures
Abstract: Metallographic microscopes are precision optical instruments. In order to ensure the normal function of the metallographic microscope system, this procedure is specially formulated and must be used by dedicated personnel who are responsible for daily maintenance and upkeep. No one is allowed to debug this equipment without permission.
The operating steps and daily maintenance and maintenance precautions of the metallographic microscope system are as follows:
microscope part
1. Remove the dust cover and turn on the power.
2. Place the sample on the stage pad and adjust the coarse/fine adjustment knob to adjust the focus until the observed image is clear.
3. Adjust the position of the stage to find the field of view to be observed and conduct metallographic analysis.
Computer and image analysis system
Adjust the observation/photography switch knob on the metallographic microscope to the PHOT position, and the information observed in the metallographic microscope will be converted to the video interface and camera. Turn on the computer, start the image analysis software, and you can observe the information from the metallographic microscope. Real-time images are collected and processed after finding the field of view to be observed.
Routine maintenance, care and precautions
To ensure the service life and reliability of the system, pay attention to the following matters:
1. The test room should have three prevention conditions: shockproof (away from the source of the earthquake), moisture-proof (use air conditioner, dryer), dust-proof (floor covered); power supply: 220V±10%, 50HZ; temperature: 0°C-40 °C.
2. When adjusting the focus, be careful not to let the objective lens touch the sample to avoid scratching the objective lens.
3. Do not switch the objective lens when the center of the round hole of the stage gasket is far away from the center of the objective lens to avoid scratching the objective lens.
4. Do not adjust the brightness from high to low, or too bright, which will affect the service life of the bulb and damage your eyesight.
5. All (function) switching should be done lightly and in place.
6. Adjust the brightness to minimum when shutting down.
7. Non-professionals should not adjust the lighting system (filament position lamp) to avoid affecting the imaging quality.
8. When replacing the halogen lamp, pay attention to the high temperature to avoid burns; be careful not to directly touch the glass body of the halogen lamp with your hands.
9. When shutting down and not in use, adjust the objective lens to its lowest state through the focusing mechanism.
10. When the machine is shut down and not in use, do not cover the dust cover immediately. Wait until it cools down before covering it again. Pay attention to fire prevention.
11. Optical components that are not frequently used are placed in a drying dish. 12. Non-professionals should not try to clean the objective lens and other optical components. The eyepiece can be wiped with an absorbent cotton swab dipped in a 3:7 mixture of liquid and shaken dry. Do not use other liquids to avoid damaging the eyepiece.
