Measurement method and precautions of digital illuminance meter

A digital illuminance meter is an instrument specially used to measure illuminance. It is the degree to which the detected object is illuminated, that is, the ratio of the luminous flux obtained on the surface of the object to the illuminated area. The illuminance meter is generally composed of a selenium photocell or a silicon photocell with a filter and a microammeter. Digital lux meters are mainly used in schools, hospitals, homes, offices, factories, hotels, hotels, casinos, shops, department stores and other places.

Measuring method of digital illuminance meter

1. Turn on the power.

2. Select the appropriate measurement gear.

3. Open the light detection cover, and align the front of the light detector with the light source to be measured.

4. Read the measured value of the illuminance meter LCD.

5. When reading the measured value, if the highest digit shows "1", it means overload, and you should immediately choose a higher gear for measurement.

6. Data hold switch, turn the switch to HOLD, the LCD will display the "H" symbol, and the displayed value is locked, turn the switch to ON, then the reading lock function can be canceled.

7. After the measurement work is completed, please cover the light detector and turn off the power of the instrument.

Precautions for the use of digital lux meters

1. Do not measure in high temperature or high temperature places.

2. The time detector needs to be kept clean.

3. The light source test reference level is at the top of the light-receiving sphere.

4. The sensitivity of the light detector will decrease due to the conditions of use or time. It is recommended that you calibrate the instrument regularly to maintain the basic accuracy.
