Measurement of pH value with a pH meter

The calibrated instrument can be used to measure the solution being measured. Depending on whether the temperature of the solution being measured and the calibration solution are the same, the measurement steps of the pH meter are also different. Take the PHS-3D pH meter as an example.

The specific steps are as follows:

When the temperature of the measured solution and the calibration solution are the same

The measurement steps are as follows:
1. Clean the electrode head with distilled water, and then clean it with the test solution;

2. Immerse the electrode into the solution to be measured, stir the solution with a glass rod to make it uniform, and read the pH value of the solution on the display.

When the temperature of the measured solution and the calibration solution are different
The measurement steps are as follows:

1. Clean the electrode head with distilled water, and then clean it with the test solution;

2. Use a thermometer to measure the temperature of the solution being measured;

3. Press the "Mode" button once to make the instrument enter the solution temperature state (at this time the ℃ temperature unit indicator light flashes), press the "△" key or "▽" key to adjust the temperature display value to rise or fall, so that the temperature display value matches the If the temperature value of the measured solution is consistent, then press the "Confirm" key. The instrument will return to the pH measurement state after confirming the solution temperature.

4. Insert the electrode into the solution to be measured, stir the solution with a glass rod, and read the pH value of the solution after making it uniform.
