Measuring principle of thickness gauge
It is composed of two upper and lower laser ranging sensors. When working, the upper and lower sensors respectively measure the distance between the sensor and the upper and lower surfaces of the measured object, and subtract the distance measured by the two sensors from the total distance between the two sensors. The thickness of the measured object can be obtained from the distance.
The advantage of the laser thickness gauge is that it is a non-contact measurement without loss of accuracy due to wear, especially suitable for the measurement of moving objects. The distance measuring sensor of Lanpeng laser thickness gauge is installed on two brackets that can do synchronous reciprocating motion, which can realize the covering measurement of the rolling plate in the transverse direction.
