The measurement principle of the laser thickness gauge: the laser measuring head 1 and the laser measuring head 2 are arranged at a fixed distance A. When working, the laser measuring head 1 emits a beam of laser light to illuminate the lower surface of the measured object, and the diffuse reflection light of the light spot on the lower surface Returning to the CCD chip in the laser probe 1, the actual distance B1 from the laser probe 1 to the lower surface of the object under test can be obtained by analyzing and calculating the position of the light spot on the CCD chip; The distance B2 on the upper surface of the measured object. The thickness H of the measured object can be obtained by subtracting the distances B1 and B2 from the two measuring heads to the upper and lower surfaces of the measured object from the distance A between the two measuring heads.


The laser thickness gauge cannot perform penetrating measurement. It is an online detection of the overall thickness of the board. , paper, biscuits, etc., all kinds of plates can be measured, and the detection of galvanized sheets is also to detect the overall thickness, not the thickness of the galvanized layer. In short, it can directly detect the overall thickness of various plate products.
Let’s take a look at the thickness of the rolled materials that the laser thickness gauge cannot detect. Materials with large holes such as sponges and the thickness of coatings cannot be measured. In addition, the wall thickness of small-diameter pipes cannot be detected. The diameter of the pipe can be detected off-line to measure the thickness of the pipe end.
The laser thickness gauge can be applied to the on-line detection of the thickness and size of most plates, but the plates such as coatings cannot be measured.
