Method steps using microscope
1. During the experiment, put the microscope on the desktop, and the mirror seat should be about 6 ~ 7 cm away from the edge of the table. Turn on the bottom light source switch.
2. Turn the converter so that the low-power lens is facing the light hole on the stage. Then look at the eyepiece with both eyes, adjust the intensity of the light source, raise the condenser, and adjust the iris aperture to the maximum, so that the light can be reflected into the mirror. At this time, the field of vision is bright.
3. Place the loaded piece to be observed on the stage, so that the observed part is located in the center of the light-passing hole.
4. First observe with a low-power lens (objective lens 10×, eyepiece 10×). Before observation, rotate the coarse quasi-focus screw to make the stage rise and make the objective lens gradually approach the slice. It should be noted that the objective lens should not touch the glass slide to prevent the lens from crushing the glass slide. And turn the coarse quasi-focus screw to make the stage slowly descend, and soon you can see the enlarged object image of the material in the glass.
5. If the object image seen in the field of vision does not meet the experimental requirements (the object image deviates from the field of vision), you can slowly move the left and right moving ruler. When moving, it should be noted that the moving direction of the slide is just opposite to the moving direction of the object image seen in the field of vision. If the object image is not clear, the fine focus screw can be adjusted until the object image is clear.
6. If the high-power objective lens is further used for observation, the part of the object image that needs to be enlarged for observation should be moved to the center of the field of view before the high-power objective lens is changed (when the low-power objective lens is changed to the high-power objective lens for observation, the range of the object image in the field of view is much reduced). Generally, in a microscope with normal function, the low-power objective lens and the high-power objective lens are basically in focus. When the low-power objective lens is used to observe clearly, the high-power objective lens should be able to see the object image, but the object image is not necessarily clear, so it can be adjusted by turning the fine focusing screw.
7. After changing the high-power objective lens and seeing the object clearly, you can adjust the aperture or condenser as needed to make the light meet the requirements. When changing the low-power objective lens into a high-power objective lens for observation, the field of vision will be slightly darker, so you need to adjust the light intensity).
8. After observation, the objective lens should be removed from the light hole first, and then the microscope should be restored. And check whether the parts are damaged (pay special attention to check whether the objective lens is stained with water, if it is stained with water, wipe it with lens paper), and put it back in its original place after inspection.
