Microscope pupil distance adjustment method

Adjustment of interpupillary distance: completely separate the two eyepieces to the maximum position, use the left and right eyes to observe at the same time, then shrink the two eyepieces to the middle, until the two eyes see at the same time and only see a circular field of view, record the top of the observation tube, A 50-70 indication below the eyepiece, this indication is the interpupillary distance. Write down the interpupillary distance, and directly adjust to this reading when observing next time or when observing with other microscopes.

Diopter adjustment: the eyepiece can be rotated to change its diopter to adapt to observers with different eyesight. Generally, the 0 reticle line of the eyepiece is aligned with the white line, and then the left eye is used to observe the right eye and the right eye is tightly closed to adjust the fine adjustment until the specimen is clear, and then Close the left eye and use the right eye to observe the rotating device of the adjusting eyepiece to change the diopter until the specimen is clear and record the diopter. Some can only adjust the diopter of the right eye, and some can adjust both eyepieces.
