Moisture meters take the place of conventional moisture measurement techniques.

In the history of instrumentation development, human beings have been constantly exploring from traditional manual instruments to modern scientific instruments. The method for measuring the moisture content of objects is also being continuously improved. It seems that there was no such thing as a moisture meter in the early days. The initial moisture measurement is by drying and then according to the formula of the weight loss method: [moisture content = [the mass of the object before weight loss - the mass of the object after weight loss) / the mass of the object before weight loss] The moisture content is calculated manually. The moisture content calculated by this method is very inaccurate and the measurement results are easily affected by various factors, resulting in unstable measurement data.

Driven by industrial technological innovation, after the middle of the 20th century, with the emergence of automatic control theory and the maturity of automatic control technology, digital moisture analyzers based on A/D (digital/analog conversion) links developed rapidly. With the rapid development of computers, communications, software, new materials and new technologies and the possibility of mature artificial intelligence and online measurement, moisture measuring instruments are becoming intelligent, digital and automated. Moisture meters can be seen everywhere in recent years and have been widely used in various industries. Traditional moisture analyzers and moisture measurement methods with large measurement errors are gradually being eliminated.

The moisture meter can be widely used in all industries that need to quickly measure moisture, such as medicine, food, feed, seeds, rapeseed, dehydrated vegetables, tobacco, chemical industry, tea, food, meat, textiles, agriculture, forestry, paper, rubber, plastics, textiles and other industries in the laboratory and production process, and can meet the determination requirements of solid, granule, powder, colloid and liquid moisture content.

In the process of using the moisture meter, we need to pay attention to the fact that the titration results of the moisture meter can be input and output according to a certain required format, and the moisture meter can automatically perform relevant statistics and analysis, so that our moisture meter can obtain relevant data in a timely manner. When using a fast moisture meter, we must not only know its technical characteristics, but also have many things to pay attention to, so the titration speed should be fast and accurate when using it.

The moisture meter should try to avoid direct sunlight, vibration, etc. It is best not to have temperature interference and power fluctuations. There should be enough space around the instrument for heat dissipation to avoid inaccurate measurements caused by heat sources gathering. The distance between the instrument and the substance to be tested should be kept. During use, it should be noted that the vent of the instrument cannot be covered or stuffed with other items, which is very dangerous. When starting to heat, do not place those flammable items around the instrument, so as not to cause injury to the operator. In addition, the weight of the material sample to be measured should be as small as possible, which will help the accuracy of the test results.
