Auto blocking socket
The multimeter is equipped with an automatic socket blocking mechanism to ensure your safety and to protect your instrument. This mechanism is connected to a rotary switch that only allows access to the selected functions actually required
jack. It also prevents the user from turning the rotary switch to an impermissible function after the measurement cable has been plugged in.
CAT III/CAT IV
The METRAHITIM multimeter, together with our recommended measurement accessories, complies with measurement categories CATIII1000V and CATIV600V.

They are suitable for maintenance, service and diagnostics of electric motors, drive units and systems, e.g. in automotive, energy and automation applications, as well as in the field of electromobility (IM E-DRIVE), including tests according to ECE R100 and more.
In the inductance range of 10µH to 5H (100Hz), a 1kV surge test is possible in combination with the optional COILADAPTER XTRA. This range corresponds to DIN-compliant motors with a power rating of approximately 160VA to 80MVA
