Multimeter Fault Diagnosis Skills

A multimeter has a very wide range of applications and is commonly used in the power electronics sector. It is an indispensable metal rotor flowmeter on both sides. A multimeter can not only be used to measure the resistance of the object being measured, but also AC and DC voltages. Some can even measure the main parameters of transistors and the capacitance of capacitors, etc.

Since the scope of use is so wide, the instrument user should be able to easily diagnose its malfunction. Today, let's popularize the diagnosis of multimeter faults together!

1) Use observation method to inspect components, such as whether they have changed color, bubbles, or spots, and whether there are any special odors.

2) If there are two identical metal rotor flow meters or new spare parts, the replacement method can be used to diagnose the fault. So we generally recommend that companies with high frequency of use have a backup instrument.

3) The performance of a multimeter varies due to contact or virtual soldering, and can be diagnosed using tapping and hand pressure methods. Gently tap the parts that may cause malfunctions to see if it will cause errors or shutdown faults. At the same time, the plug and power supply can be checked to ensure stable power supply.

4) Sometimes, when a metal rotor flowmeter malfunctions in high-temperature environments, cooling methods can be used to eliminate the problem
