Multimeter use - car current measurement
1. The multimeter should be connected in series with the component under test on the car.
2. When measuring the DC current in the car, the multimeter should be placed in the corresponding A, the positive test lead is connected to the high potential terminal, and the negative test lead is connected to the low potential terminal, so that the current flows from the positive test lead to the negative test lead.
3. When measuring AC current, the test lead has no positive or negative points. The range should be consistent with the measured current as much as possible. If the measured current value is unknown, it should be tested from the maximum range. When the car multimeter is not in use, the gear knob should be placed at the highest level of AC voltage.
