Operating Specifications for Toxic and Harmful Gas Detectors

The use of combustible gas detectors

Inspection and preparation of combustible gas detector before operation

1. Check if the combustible gas detector has a certificate of inspection and if it is within its validity period.

2. Check if the suction duct of the combustible gas detector is blocked Damage, etc., check if the filter element is clean.

 Operation

1. Press and hold the power button. Connect power ->preheating operation ->display (gas concentration screen) ① Press "POWER". The buzzer emits a beep sound and the power is turned on.

② The LCD main display screen shows "ADj", and the simulated screen displays the zeroing action (preheating operation). The clock is displayed on the LCD secondary display screen.

③ After the sensor stabilizes, the buzzer emits a [beep -] sound and displays (gas concentration screen). (Usually 30 seconds, up to 5 minutes) After the display screen data stabilizes, check the battery level of the detector and whether the displayed data returns to zero. Here, Shenzhen Liye Technology reminds everyone to turn on the device in normal air, adjust the zero position, and ensure the accuracy of its detection value.

2. Turn on the display (gas concentration screen), bring the intake pipe close to the testing point, observe the data displayed on the screen, if the value rises rapidly and starts to alarm, quickly remove the intake pipe and take measures to ensure the safety of the tested equipment.

Attention: When detecting gases, if there are sensitive gases present, the gas detection will automatically display the L level. As the value increases, it will rise to the H level after full range, and then the display screen will show OL after full range, indicating that it exceeds the range of this device.

3. After the detection is completed, wait for the detector to display zero before performing the shutdown operation, and put away the equipment before leaving the scene.

4. Zero position adjustment

Press and hold (AIRADJ) for about 3 seconds, and the buzzer will beep and beep, completing the zero position adjustment.

① If the buzzer sounds "beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep.

② Long term use of this machine or other environmental factors may cause the sensor to become unstable. At this time, the gas concentration value may rise or flicker, and zero adjustment must be performed before use, otherwise accurate measurement may not be possible.

Maintenance of combustible gas detector

1. Due to the generally harsh working environment of combustible gas detectors, pollutants and dust may enter the interior of the gas detector. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly clean and maintain the combustible gas detector to improve its accuracy and sensitivity.

2. In order to ensure that the combustible gas detector is not affected by electromagnetic interference, it is necessary to check the grounding of the instrument and prevent situations such as the instrument not being grounded or not meeting grounding standards.

3. Ensure the reliability of the detection instrument and prevent malfunctions caused by aging components of the combustible gas detector. Flammable gas detectors that have exceeded their expiration date should be replaced promptly.

4. Combustible gas detectors should not be used or stored in dusty or dirty places for a long time, and it is prohibited to store instruments in high or cold places.

5. Prohibit the use of irritating chemicals, detergents, or high concentration cleaning agents to clean combustible gas detectors. Please use a clean cotton ball dipped in a small amount of water or soapy water to gently test the instrument and wipe it dry in a timely manner.

6. Different combustible gas detectors should be selected for different application scenarios. Places that use coal gas, natural gas, and liquefied gas should use semiconductor combustible gas detectors, while industrial places that emit combustible gases and vapors should use catalytic combustible gas detectors.
