Operation and use of two-in-one coating thickness gauge
How to operate the 2-in-1 coating thickness gauge? The coating thickness gauge can non-destructively measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings (such as aluminum, chromium, copper, enamel, rubber, paint, etc.) The thickness of a non-conductive coating (such as enamel, rubber, paint, plastic, etc.) on a metal substrate (such as copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, etc.). The coating thickness gauge has the characteristics of small measurement error, high reliability, good stability, and easy operation. It is an indispensable testing instrument for controlling and ensuring product quality. It is widely used in manufacturing, metal processing, chemical industry, Commodity inspection and other testing fields.
Operation and use of two-in-one coating thickness gauge
(1): Before using the iron-based and aluminum-based dual-purpose coating thickness gauge, you must follow the seventh "operation steps" section of the Jintai coating thickness gauge manual to select the instrument probe model suitable for your measurement, You can either lock ferrous base, non-ferrous alone, or choose dual-use automatic conversion. There is no need to choose between single-use iron-based type and non-ferrous-based type, and it can be used after turning on the machine.
(2): When measuring, hold the concave part of the handle of the instrument with your hand, and press the probe perpendicular to the metal surface to be measured, and pick up the instrument after the buzzer sounds.
(3): Calibrate on the calibration board before measurement. Since the conductivity or magnetism of different metal substrates may be different, the calibration is performed on the metal substrate of our own products (metal without any surface treatment) to identify the metal substrate. The steps are as follows: 1. Zero calibration: press the probe on the metal substrate, wait for the instrument to display the corresponding metal probe model (such as: Fe or NFe), and after the buzzer sounds, press the "zero" button to confirm, and then Measure the calibration diaphragm. 2. Two-point calibration: put a film with similar coating thickness (such as 25um, 50um or 100um calibration film) on the metal substrate for measurement. If there is any error, please press ▲" or "▼ " key to adjust the value to the correct value of the diaphragm. Normal measurement can be performed after completing the above two steps.
