Operation Principle Guide for Dual-Color Fixed Thermometer
The dual color online thermometer is an effective tool for detecting and diagnosing electronic equipment faults. There are various types of fixed infrared thermometers, and different series play important roles in their respective industries. The main performance indicators of fixed infrared thermometers include spectral response, response time, repeatability, and emissivity. Fixed infrared thermometers are used in the glass and ceramic industry, paper and packaging industry, various kiln temperature measurement applications, and chemical industry to measure the temperature of instruments and meters, in order to detect the operating status of instruments and ensure their normal operation.
Operation principle guide for dual color fixed thermometer:
The dual color infrared thermometer consists of an optical system, a color divider or filter, an infrared detector, a signal processor, and a display output part. The dual color thermometer measures the amplitude brightness emitted by an object in two different spectral ranges, and converts the ratio of these two radiance to the temperature of the object. Therefore, it is fundamentally different from the monochrome thermometer in principle. The key to the dual color thermometer lies in the selection of the two frequency bands. The selection principle is that the ratio of signals in two bands is sensitive to temperature changes. When there is a small change in temperature, the ratio of signals in the two bands is still large, which will enable the instrument to have a higher temperature resolution.
Advantages of Online Temperature Measurement Infrared Thermometers in the Steel Industry
The steel industry uses thermometers because the products are in motion and the temperature is very high. The ordinary application in the steel industry is that the temperature is a continuous state, and the melted steel begins to transform into blocks. The key to preventing deformation of steel is to reheat it at the same temperature, and infrared thermometers are used to measure the internal temperature of the reheater. In high-temperature rotary mills, infrared thermometers are used to confirm that the temperature of the product is within the rotation limit. In the cooling rolling mill, infrared thermometers are used to monitor the temperature of steel during the cooling process.
