Operation steps after using the microscope
After observation, remove the sample, twist the converter, and make the V-shaped lens slant to both sides. The reflector should be upright, lower the lens tube, wipe it clean, and put on the lens cover.
If you are using a microscope with a light source, you need to adjust the brightness knob to turn the brightness to the darkest level, and then turn off the power button to prevent the light source from being burned out by excessive current during the next startup.
inverted microscope
The main difference between an inverted microscope and an upright microscope is that the objective lens is located below the stage, which facilitates real-time operation of the sample above during observation.
The operation process of an inverted microscope is basically similar to that of a dual tube upright microscope, and the following points should be noted:
The hinged binocular eyepiece can be adjusted to a comfortable position during observation.
Splashing tissue culture medium or water onto the stage, objective lens, or microscope frame may damage the equipment. If splashed, immediately unplug the power cord from the wall socket and wipe off any spilled liquid or water.
Be sure to gently turn the light intensity adjustment knob and do not attempt to turn the knob past the end position. After use, make sure to adjust the intensity of the light to the minimum before turning off the power.
After use, rotate the three hole converter to place the objective lens on the lower side of the stage to prevent dust from settling.
Solid microscope
Also known as stereomicroscope or anatomical microscope. The operating steps are basically similar to those of a binocular upright microscope:
When using the dissector, use both hands to move and maintain stability. If the mirror box needs to be moved, it should be locked and the key to the mirror box must be removed.
If there is a dust cover on the mirror tube, it should be removed and replaced with an eyepiece and eye mask.
Place the sample on a glass slide or wax tray before placing it on a carrier tray for observation. Unlock the lock
Tighten the screws, first raise the mirror body to a certain height, and then lock the mirror body.
Before observation, the eyepiece tube can be rotated to fit the eye spacing. The difference in binocular vision can be adjusted by the visual circle.
When focusing, the lifting screw should not be turned too quickly or forcefully to prevent damage to the gear.
If you need to zoom in and observe, turn the magnification disc again until the desired magnification is achieved. The larger the object image, the darker the light, and it is necessary to adjust the light source and choose a good background.
After use, first remove the items from the loading tray, loosen the locking screws, and then lower the mirror body and lock it tightly. Remove the eyepiece and replace it with a dust cover. Replace all components and be careful not to exchange them with other mirrors. Wipe the mirror body clean with a cloth, place it in the mirror box, and lock the mirror box tightly.
