Operational Procedures, Steps and Normal Service Life of Gas Detection Instruments
1. Four processes of gas detector application
The four processes of gas detector application are starting heating, on-site manual inspection, alarm resolution, and alarm data analysis.
Starting the heating and conducting on-site manual inspection are both super simple practical operations, which only require starting and then holding it to inspect the tested gas in the field.
To solve the alarm, it is necessary to use exhaust fans, emergency shut-off valves, and other methods to block the source of the leaked steam and dilute or solve the problem of the concentration and water content of the leaked steam. This is not too difficult, as long as the testing site is equipped with such supporting facilities and machinery.
And the statistical analysis of alarm data must be carried out using configuration software upload software and industrial computers. The alarm statistical data can be uploaded to the industrial computer, and practical operations such as analyzing, sorting, and summarizing the alarm statistical data over a period of time can be carried out on the industrial computer to observe some connections or regularities of the gas leakage at the tested site.
2. Application period of gas detector
The application period of gas detectors is generally 2-3 years, with longer ones lasting 3-5 years, but generally all have a one-year warranty period. The key is closely related to any key component controller. As the controller is a compound, if it comes into contact with gas, it will gradually consume and the service life will continue to decrease. Therefore, the application period of gas detectors is generally limited to more than ten years, and it is not easy to encounter problems. Once the service life of the controller reaches its limit, it can be replaced immediately.
The leakage situation of the tested gas varies in different venues, and the application level of the controller of the gas detector is also different. The controller of the gas detector with repeated application and alarm is more expensive, and its service life is undoubtedly shorter than everything normal. However, the actual application situation of each customer's venue is different, so it cannot be said that the warranty period is very long. Usually, it is a one-year warranty period with lifelong maintenance.
