Overview of Microscope Operation Structure of an operating microscope
The operating microscope is mainly suitable for animal anatomy in teaching experiments, suturing of tiny blood vessels and nerves, and other fine operations or inspections that require the help of a microscope.
Introduction
Surgical microscope video recording system is also called: camera system, high-definition image imaging system, digital surgical image management system, etc. It is a function specially designed for medical institutions to save the video recording of the operation process, so as to facilitate the retrieval and archiving of previous cases.
structure
The operating microscope consists of two single-person binocular operating microscopes with small objective lenses, so that two people can observe one target at the same time. Because of its small size, light weight, stable fixation, and convenient movement, it can be moved, adjusted, and fixed in all directions as required by medical staff. The dual lamps of the cold light source can be easily converted and used.
Operating procedures
1. Remove the microscope lens cover
2. Loosen the brake device of the base, gather the cross arms of each section, and tighten the brake handwheel
3. Turn on the power, turn on the switch, and check the function of the instrument
4. The protective cover wraps the lens and forearm of the microscope, and cuts off the corresponding film under the lens
5. Place the microscope according to the surgical site, brake the base firmly, and tighten the brake handwheel
6. Adjust the lens to the function position
7. Adjust the interpupillary distance and the diopter of the eyes
8. After use, turn off the microscope switch first, then remove the power supply, put on the lens cover, put on the protective cover, and organize and return
Care of the Microscope
Microscope lighting bulbs have different lifespans due to different working hours. If the bulb is damaged and replaced, the system must be cleared to avoid unnecessary losses to the machine. Every time the machine is turned on and off, the lighting system switch should be turned off or the brightness should be adjusted to the minimum to avoid sudden high-voltage shocks from damaging the light source. [3] In order to meet the selection of the surgical site, the size of the field of view, and the definition requirements during the operation, the doctor can adjust the displacement aperture, focal length, height, etc. through the pedal control panel. When adjusting, move lightly and slowly, and stop immediately when reaching the limit position. Overtime idling will damage the motor and cause the adjustment to fail.
After the microscope has been used for a period of time, the joint lock will appear too dead or too loose. At this time, it is only necessary to restore the joint lock to its normal working state according to the situation. Every time before using the microscope, you should routinely check whether the joints are loose or not, so as to avoid unnecessary troubles during the operation.
After each use, the dirt on the microscope should be wiped off with absorbent cotton cleaner, otherwise it will be difficult to wipe clean after a long time. Cover it with a microscope cover so that it is in a ventilated, dry, dust-free, and non-corrosive gas environment.
A maintenance system shall be established, and professionals shall carry out regular maintenance, inspection and adjustment, and carry out necessary overhaul and maintenance of mechanical systems, observation systems, lighting systems, display systems, and circuit parts. In short, be cautious when using a microscope and not operate roughly. In order to prolong the service life of the surgical microscope, it is necessary to rely on the serious working attitude of the staff and the care and love of the microscope to keep it in a good operating condition and play a better role.
