Performance characteristics and applications of AC clamp meters

Fluke 302 is a new compact AC clamp meter launched by Fluke. This series of clamp ammeters is easy to use and can meet the needs of daily basic electrical maintenance. It has the following characteristics: AC current 400A (302+), 600A (303) , 999.9A (305), can meet customers with different application needs; different from the new body design of previous Fluke clamp meters, the Fluke 302 AC clamp meter is more compact and beautiful, meeting the requirements of the Chinese market for product size, appearance and feel. .

Different from the new body design of previous Fluke clamp meters, the Fluke 302+/303/305 AC clamp meters are more compact and beautiful, meeting the requirements of the Chinese market for product size, appearance and feel, making the use of clamp ammeters easier More flexible and simple;

AC current 400A (302+), 600A (303), 999.9A (305), which can meet customers with different application needs;

30mm large jaw;

Comply with CAT IV 300V/CAT ||| 600V high safety level;

High accuracy of 1.8% (1.5% for 305);

All series of AC clamp meters have backlight function;

Clamp ammeter reading
1. Select the gear and range. Turn the meter switch to the DC current "mA" position, and select the range correctly according to the size of the current being measured. When the magnitude of the current is not known, in order to prevent the current from being too large and exceeding the measurement range, the test can be performed at the highest DC current level first. If the measurement range is too large, reduce the measurement range until the measurement range is appropriate.

2. Connect in series to the circuit. When measuring current with a multimeter, the test leads must be connected in series with the current, and the red test lead is connected to the high potential end of the circuit, and the black test lead is connected to the low potential end of the current.

3. Reading method:
(1) Correctly select the scale mark for reading.

(2) Convert current value: Current value = number of scales pointed by the pointer × range size/maximum value of the selected scale.
