Portable wind direction and anemometer - field observation

The portable anemometer mainly consists of a support pole, a wind vane, a wind cup, and a wind speed and direction sensor. The instrument can detect and record two parameters of wind direction and speed. The instrument is compact in size, easy to carry, with touch buttons and a large dot matrix LCD display. It is easy to operate and features a fully Chinese menu. The instrument is powered by both AC and DC, making it convenient for field measurements. So, how should a portable anemometer be used?

Instructions for using a portable anemometer:
1. Thread the data cable out of the fixed branch, unscrew the interface screw, connect the sensor and the fixed support rod, and the sensor installation is completed;

2. Connect the sensor and the host, and press the power button to turn on and collect data.

Precautions for using portable anemometers:
1. It is prohibited to use wind direction and speed monitoring devices in flammable gas environments.

2. Do not place the wind direction and speed monitoring probe in flammable gases. Otherwise, it may lead to fire or even explosion.

3. Do not disassemble or modify the wind direction and speed monitoring device. Otherwise, it may cause electric shock or fire.

4. Please use the wind direction and speed monitor correctly according to the instructions in the user manual. Improper use may result in electric shock, fire, and damage to sensors.

5. Do not expose the probe and wind direction and speed monitoring device to rain. Otherwise, there may be risks of electric shock, fire, and personal injury.

6. Do not touch the sensor area inside the probe.

7. Do not place the wind direction and speed monitor in places with high temperature, high humidity, high dust, and direct sunlight. Otherwise, it will result in damage to internal components or deterioration of anemometer performance.

8. Do not use volatile liquids to wipe the wind direction and speed monitor. Otherwise, it may cause deformation and discoloration of the housing of the wind direction and speed monitoring device. When there are stains on the surface of the anemometer, a soft fabric and neutral detergent can be used to wipe it off.

The above are the instructions for using the portable anemometer. The application of TPJ-30-G portable anemometer developed and produced by Top Cloud Agriculture in agricultural planting and production can provide accurate, reliable, and intuitive data support for agricultural growers. Compared with traditional manual measurement methods, it is more accurate in data, and multi-point synchronous monitoring can improve work efficiency and help agricultural growers formulate preventive measures early, thereby ensuring stable agricultural production. At present, wind speed recorders have been widely used in various fields such as universities, research institutions, roads and bridges, agricultural planting, etc.
