Precautions for using adjustable DC stabilized power supply

(1) This DC stabilized power supply's output voltage is typically continuously adjustable between 0 and 30 V. The coarse adjustment and fine adjustment knobs on the JA3215-OS-A04 are its two available buttons. Adjust initially coarsely, and then finely. You must measure the output voltage and precisely adjust it before connecting the power supply to the load circuit. If you don't, the voltage adjustment will soon burn up the load circuit.

(2) There are two leads on the DC regulated power supply's output end: a positive lead (shown by the red lead) and a negative lead (shown by the black lead). It is not possible to swap out these two leads. You must first comprehend the positive and negative power supply terminals in the circuit before connecting the DC stabilized power supply's output leads. Reversing the connections will cause the circuit to burn out.

(3) Do not contact the two leads at the output end of the DC regulated power supply after turning it on. If you do, the output terminal will short circuit and the DC regulated power supply will enter the protective state. There won't be any DC voltage produced at this moment; after pressing the reset switch once, the power supply will function normally.

(4) For ease of use, the positive and negative output leads of the DC regulated power supply are often connected with a red and black clip respectively. The black clip (ground wire) is clamped to the ground wire of the circuit, and the red clip is clamped to the ground wire of the circuit. The positive terminal of the power supply is very convenient to use. In addition, an insulating sleeve should be used on the outside of the clip to prevent the output terminals of the DC regulated power supply from short-circuiting after they collide with each other.

(5) Some DC stabilized power supplies are equipped with a DC ammeter, which can simultaneously indicate the current output of the DC stabilized battery, which is very convenient for maintenance. When there is no such ammeter, a DC ammeter can be connected in series in the output circuit of the DC regulated power supply.

(6) When overhauling the OCL power amplifier circuit, a DC stabilized power supply with dual power outputs should be used, because this power amplifier circuit requires positive and negative symmetrical power supplies, and some other circuits also use positive and negative symmetrical power supplies.

(7) In a regulated power supply capable of outputting two sets of DC voltages, the two sets of circuits are independent, and the output voltage adjustment must be performed separately.
