Principle of Far Infrared Thermometer Performance Index of Far Infrared Thermometer

1. Coating thickness gauge
The paint coating thickness gauge is a non-destructive measurement of the thickness and thickness of non-magnetic coatings (such as aluminum, chrome, enamel, rubber, paint, etc.) A testing instrument for the thickness of non-conductive coatings (enamel, rubber, paint, plastic, etc.) on non-magnetic metal substrates (such as copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, etc.).

2. Measuring point selection
For the determination of the thickness of the fireproof coating of the floor slab and the fire wall, the area of the intersection of two adjacent longitudinal and transverse axes can be selected as a unit, and on its diagonal, a point per meter of length is selected for testing.

For the determination of fire protection layer thickness of beams and columns of full steel frame structure, take measurements at intervals within the construction length.

3. Measurement results
For floors and walls, measure at least 5 points in the selected area;

For beams and columns, 6 and 8 points are measured in the selected positions, and their average values are calculated to an accuracy of 0.5mm.

The detection principle of the coating thickness gauge

Magnetic thickness measurement principle:
When the probe is in contact with the coating, the probe and the magnetic metal substrate form a closed magnetic circuit. Due to the existence of the non-magnetic coating, the reluctance of the magnetic circuit changes, and the thickness of the coating can be calculated by measuring the change.

The principle of eddy current thickness measurement:
A high-frequency alternating current is used to generate an electromagnetic field in the coil. When the probe is in contact with the covering layer, an eddy current is generated on the metal substrate, and a feedback effect is generated on the coil in the measuring head. By measuring the magnitude of the feedback effect, the covering layer can be derived. thickness.

According to the detection principle of the coating thickness gauge:

It can be divided into magnetic coating thickness gauge, that is, the substrate to be measured is magnetic, such as steel, iron, etc., and there is also a non-magnetic coating thickness gauge, also called eddy current thickness gauge, such as bottom The material is aluminum.

There is also a dual-function coating thickness gauge, which means that whether its substrate is iron or aluminum, it can be automatically identified. Customers can choose according to their measurement needs.
