Principles of Laser Rangefinder Application in Industrial Automation Control
In the field of modern industrial automation control, there are many methods for locating components. Here is a solution implemented using a prism free laser rangefinder.
The industrial IMPULSE prism free laser rangefinder, produced by Laser Technology Corporation of the United States and represented by Hong Kong Diocesan Engineering Co., Ltd. in China, has a standard RS232 serial output function and can continuously collect data every 0.7 seconds. The instrument transmits the measured parameters such as slant distance, vertical distance, horizontal distance, and tilt angle to the computer through the RS232 data port. The computer determines the position of the target based on the obtained data and controls the mechanical components to change the position of the target, achieving automatic height control.
The structural features of IMPULSE allow you to obtain distance, altitude, and other data within 1 second without the need for a prism as a reflective target by simply aiming through the red dot in the aiming eyepiece mounted on IMPULSE and pressing the launch button. The measurement feature of IMPULSE is that it can measure data such as horizontal distance, inclination, and height through the use of a multifunctional menu style operation and built-in inclination sensors (200 type and 200LR type). In terms of usage, IMPULSE is more considerate of customer needs, providing functions such as left and right hand operation, data download, and optional remote triggering.
In addition, IMPULSE, which is used in conjunction with options such as MapStar, is even more powerful, immediately becoming the lightest X, Y, Z 3D measurement system, and can meet customers' broader measurement needs through data output ports, collectors, software, and other options.
Structural features: Aiming eyepiece - The aiming eyepiece is equipped with a red aiming point inside to help you accurately aim at the target. The intensity of the red point can be adjusted to adapt to different lighting environments. The transmission mirror - IMPULSE emits infrared laser signals through the transmission mirror. Receiver mirror receives the reflected infrared radiation and transmits the signal to the internal circuit of the instrument for calculation. Operation buttons - Three operation buttons can perform dozens of operations through different combinations to meet different work needs. Speaker reports the working condition of the instrument to you through different sounds. LCD Screen - The precision backlit LCD screen can meet your needs for day and night operations, displaying the data you want anytime, anywhere. The data output port - IMPULSE provides the function of data download, and you only need to use the data output port to download the data for more detailed processing.
Internal structure: IMPULSE mainly consists of a wide range laser sensor, a fluid tilt sensor, a aiming eyepiece, and a data output port. IMPULSE combines sensors and software, and operates through three buttons on the two sides of the instrument panel to obtain data on the LCD display on the back panel.
