The temperature measurement method of infrared thermometer
1. When using an infrared thermometer to measure the surface temperature of luminous objects, such as aluminum and stainless steel, the surface reflection will affect the reading of the infrared thermometer.


2. Before reading the temperature, a rubber strip can be placed on the metal surface, and after the temperature is balanced, the temperature in the rubber strip area can be measured.


3. Using an infrared thermometer to move back and forth from the kitchen to the refrigeration area can still provide accurate temperature measurement, but it needs to be measured after a period of time in a new environment to reach temperature equilibrium.


4. It is best to place the thermometer in a frequently used location.


The reason for the high temperature of the infrared thermometer
1. The temperature of the tested object was not accurately estimated.


2. The target emissivity is much higher than expected or the emissivity adjustment is incorrect.


3. The size of the measured target spot is too small.


4. There is reflection interference from background heat sources.


5. Incorrect selection and incorrect analysis of the measurement band applicable to the tested target.


6. Lead electrical noise caused by strong magnetic fields or incorrect selection of interconnecting cables or wires related to AC power lines.


7. The lens or window of the thermometer is cloudy.


8. Incorrect grounding of the cable resulted in no shielding.


Solution for high temperature of infrared thermometer
When it is caused by problem one, we can choose other temperature measuring devices to compare temperature measurement. If it is caused by problem two, we can reset the emissivity value. If it is caused by problem three, we need to adjust the temperature measurement distance. If it is caused by problem four, the solution is to block light and shield the background heat source. If it is caused by problem five, we need to reselect. If it is caused by problem six, electromagnetic interference protection is required. If it is caused by problem seven, the solution is to replace the lens or window. If it is caused by problem eight, we can rewire to solve it.
