Selection of range of differential pressure transmitter
SUAY41 differential pressure transmitter generally has 2 pressure ports, which are divided into high pressure end (H) and low pressure end (L). Differential pressure transmitters measure the pressure difference between the high pressure side and the low pressure side.
So how to determine the range of differential pressure? First of all, we must first consider the system pressure when the system under test is working normally, which can also be said to be the maximum pressure on one side. Secondly, we must determine that the maximum value of the pressure difference between the measured end and the reference end is the differential pressure transmission. range of the instrument. If the pressure at the high-pressure end of the detected system must be higher than the low-pressure end, then we can choose a single range, such as 0-1Kpa, 0-10Kpa, etc.; if the high-pressure end cannot be determined, we can choose +-1KPa, +-10Kpa The terminal can be connected at will, and the test is more convenient.
Example 1: We want to check whether the performance of a filter is up to standard. The inlet pressure of the filter is 300KPa, if the outlet pressure of the filter is less than 280Kpa, the filter needs to be replaced. Then, when we choose a differential pressure transmitter, we can choose according to the parameters that the system pressure is 300Kpa and the differential pressure range is 20Kpa.
Example 2: To test the consistency of pressure in two high-pressure tanks. The standard pressure in the tank is 1Mpa, and the two tanks are inflated at the same time, and the pressure difference in the two tanks must be guaranteed to be less than 1Kpa. Then we can select the range of the differential pressure transmitter according to the parameters of system pressure 1Mpa and differential pressure +-1Kpa.
