Small knowledge of soldering station-how to solve the incompletely melted tin slag during soldering?
1. The objective reasons of the equipment
Equipment working temperature: The temperature of wave soldering is not adjusted very high, and the working temperature of the machine is not up to the standard when welding, which causes the solder to fail to melt.
Solution: The preheating temperature is generally within the time period of 80-120℃ for bare board and 100-180℃ with fixture; the temperature of tin furnace is 260-265℃ for lead-free bare board and 265- 275°C, 6337 bare board with lead, 245-255°C, 250-260°C with jig, 255-275°C with lead 55° tin bar, 260-280°C with jig.
The height of the wave crest: the wave is so high that when the solder falls from the solder, the deviation of the working temperature will be greater, and the solder will mix with the air and rush into the tin furnace to form oxidation and semi-dissolution, which will cause the formation of tin slag.
Solution: The frequency of the wave frequency converter should not exceed 20HZ as much as possible, or the height of the wave crest spray tin should not exceed 10mm, which can greatly reduce the air flow rate of the wave peak nozzle tin.
Machine maintenance: The furnace is not cleaned immediately, and the falling solder does not enter the furnace quickly, and part of the solder will remain on the tin slag, causing uneven heating of the solder.
Solution: After there is too much tin slag on the tin surface, it must be cleaned up immediately, so as to prevent the tin sprayed out from the wave crest from falling into the remaining hard lump tin slag, which is difficult to fall back into the tin liquid, and condenses into the tin slag to form tofu slag. Melt the tin.
Second, the objective reasons for solder materials
In terms of tin bars: tin bars may be caused by the reduction to tin or doping recycling treatment and reduction to tin, which causes the raw material quality of tin bars to be unqualified.
Solution: Choose enterprise brand tin bars when purchasing, and you must not save a part of the expenses to buy tin bars from small workshops.
In terms of flux: when too much flux is added, the remaining flux will fall back into the tin furnace when it experiences the peak of the tin furnace.
Solution: Pay more attention to spraying flux, and spray according to the prerequisites required by the actual situation.
