Soldering iron tip tinning and cleaning
A cool and hot soldering iron head (solderlng bit) is very important to successful soldering. During the heating process, oxides are often formed on the soldering iron tip, that is, the soldering iron tip is oxidized. It is not only unsightly, but also greatly detrimental to the soldering work of the soldering iron tip. Soldering iron copper head (solderlngcopper) or as commonly known as the soldering iron head is made of various sizes and different shapes. Larger tips will last longer than smaller tips that are generally received.
The flux used for cleaning and tinning is zinc chloride (zn cl2). The more convenient way is to prepare a welding bottle. When necessary, add water to the bottle and combine with zinc chloride (zn cl2) to form a little flux.
need tools
1 soldering iron tip
2 heating furnace
3 flux
4 tin or soft solder
5 old files
6Cerium chloride (NH4CL)
program
1 Heat the tip of the soldering iron to dark red
2 Dip the tip of the soldering iron in the flux for a moment
3 Add a little soft solder to the tip of the hot soldering iron.
4 and then immersed in the flux.
tin
If the tip of the soldering iron is overheated, an old file can be used to remove the fire scale. Finally, use solder wire, 1/16 in diameter, to tinn the tip of the soldering iron.
