Standardisation of the use of explosion-proof night vision devices

Explosion proof night vision instrument is a precision photoelectric instrument used to observe targets at night and under low light conditions. Mainly developed to work under extremely low illumination, equipped with infrared emitters. It is a nighttime detection and observation technology that utilizes the principle of photoelectric imaging. Its detection function is limited and affected by the surrounding environment.

Standardized use of explosion-proof night vision devices
1. Do not open it during the day without a protective cover.

When checking the working performance in a room with lighting, it should be done with the night vision device covered and not facing strong light sources. The strong light entering the explosion-proof night vision device may damage it or shorten its service life.

3. When using night vision equipment with a mirror cover to observe objects, avoid strong flashes.

When strong light enters the explosion-proof night vision device, its visibility will decrease or even disappear. At this point, the night vision device should be immediately removed from the strong light source. After 1-2 minutes, the function will be restored. Extremely strong light sources can damage night vision equipment.

Strong flashing and flickering are allowed within 5.1 minutes. The spot observed in the field of vision is not caused by a defect in the night vision device, but by the flicker of external light sources. When working in a standard manner, there will be no light spots, and there are a small number of black spots and bright spots in the field of vision, which are not quality defects but meet the quality standards of night vision equipment.

Application areas of explosion-proof night vision devices:
1. Command other customs to inspect maritime patrols.

2. During emergency rescue, traffic command and highway management departments should observe and take photos from a distance.

3. Remote night observation and photos of firefighting, forestry management, geological exploration, petroleum production units, airport management, large-scale assembly management units/railways, and ports

4. Environmental protection, safety production supervision, and remote photo monitoring.
