1. Turn the gear knob to the appropriate resistance gear;
2. Short-circuit the two nibs of the multimeter and observe whether the pointer points to the zero position (far right). If it does not point to the zero position, make it zero by mechanical adjustment;
3. Connect the two test leads of the multimeter to the two ends of the resistor respectively;
4. Observe the multimeter reading (note: different from the current and voltage measurement, the reading starts from the left, and the starting position of the resistance is on the right), and combine the multimeter reading with the resistance range to get the final resistance value.
