Switching Power Supply System EMC Design Analysis

With the rapid development of electronic technology, electronic equipment at the same time also towards the integration of functions, volume miniaturisation direction, which brings us a lot of convenience, but a variety of electronic equipment between the electromagnetic coupling has also become the main problem faced by engineers. Electronic environmental pollution is no less harmful than traditional environmental pollution. And electromagnetic pollution as part of environmental pollution has also been put on the agenda. Electronic equipment in normal operation, will be subjected to a variety of electromagnetic interference, including their own internal devices of mutual interference, as well as other electronic equipment around the interference, at the same time will be around other electronic equipment electromagnetic interference. Electronic equipment in different application environments (household, industrial control, power ) requirements are very different, this can refer to the general standard IEC/EN61000-6 series or the corresponding product industry requirements.

This electromagnetic interference in the transmission pathway mainly includes two aspects: one is along the wiring harness for transmission, which mainly includes transmission along the power port and signal port transmission; on the other hand, mainly along the space for transmission.

Electromagnetic interference:

Power supply in its application environment must meet the corresponding minimum emission energy requirements, otherwise it will interfere with the surrounding environment of the equipment, the standard IEC/EN61000-6 in accordance with the general type of requirements, divided into the industrial environment equipment requirements and residential, commercial and light industrial environment emission requirements; for power supply of such general-purpose products, in the early stages of the design of the electromagnetic interference positioning, unless it is a special model, the electromagnetic interference will be in accordance with the IEC/EN61000-6. Otherwise, the design will be executed in accordance with IEC/EN61000-6-3 or IEC/EN61000-6-4.

With the continuous miniaturisation of the volume of power supply, power density continues to increase, for the power supply itself, electromagnetic interference design difficulties continue to increase, MORNSUN currently on the market all the AC-DC not only built-in filters, while in the transformer shielding, noise absorption of power devices have invested in a large number of design costs to meet the commitment of the target requirements; the R2 generation of low-power DC-DC products All six-sided shielding structure for design, to meet the industry EN55022/CISPR 22, EN55011/CISPR 11 CLASS A requirements, in line with the basic industry grade requirements.
