Temperature Measurement Principle of Thermometers for Hot Spring and Geothermal Wells
Geothermal well thermometer, also known as geothermal well temperature measurement system, is used for temperature measurement of geothermal wells and groundwater wells in geothermal exploration. It is also suitable for temperature measurement of frozen holes, water wells, geothermal wells, hot spring wells, hot water wells, oceans, static or dynamic liquids, gases, soil profiles, and temperature in a certain space. The measurement depth can be customized according to customer requirements. Deep water thermometer is a temperature tester with digital LCD display, which is intuitive and clear, with high temperature measurement accuracy, easy to use, and convenient to operate. Widely used in geological and geothermal well measurement, geological bureau deep well temperature measurement, consult for detailed promotional information on geothermal well thermometers. The following provides a detailed introduction to the performance, models and technologies, specifications, characteristics, and applications of geothermal well thermometers and geothermal well temperature measurement systems.
The principle of temperature measurement in geothermal wells
According to the principle of heat conduction, heat is always conducted from the high temperature zone to the low temperature zone. The geothermal energy inside the Earth is transmitted from the deep crust to the shallow crust through thermal conduction, and the radiation energy of the Sun is also transmitted from the outside to the inside of the Earth. The thermal energy inside and outside the Earth reaches a thermal equilibrium state at a certain depth underground. The location of the thermal equilibrium state is the top interface of the isothermal layer, and the water temperature at that point is the temperature of the isothermal layer. The area where the top interface of the isothermal layer rises and the interval between the isothermal layers is small is the geothermal anomaly zone.
Working method of water well temperature measurement
Within the census area, water wells (residential drinking water wells or agricultural irrigation water wells) should be deployed appropriately according to the area of the work area for temperature measurement. The water wells that need to be measured should be in a still water state, otherwise they cannot accurately reflect the temperature of the water. In the measurement process, the first step is to accurately determine the burial depth of the water table and measure the water temperature at that location; Then, measurements can be taken downwards at intervals of 5m or less, reaching the bottom of the well. When reading the data of each water temperature, it is necessary to wait for the number displayed by the thermometer to stabilize, otherwise there will be errors. After the completion of each well measurement work, it is necessary to truthfully record the relevant information such as well position and diameter in the book.
