The Application of Microscope in Automotive Parts

The content of the welding inspection weld penetration microscope includes the materials, tools, measuring weld penetration microscope equipment, process and finished product quality inspection used throughout the production process from drawing design to product production. The seam welding penetration measurement microscope is divided into three stages: pre welding inspection, inspection during the welding process, and inspection of the finished product after welding. The inspection methods for welding penetration of pressure vessels can be divided into destructive inspection and non-destructive inspection based on whether they cause damage to the product. There are two types of welding penetration inspection for steel boiler pipelines: destructive inspection and non-destructive inspection

1) Pre welding inspection, penetration depth and width analyzer

Pre welding inspection includes inspection of raw materials (such as base metal, welding rod, flux, etc.), inspection of welding structure design using a depth microscope, etc.

2) Inspection of weld depth and width during welding process

This includes inspection of welding process specifications, inspection of weld size, inspection of fixture condition, and inspection of structural assembly quality.

3) Inspection of finished products after welding using a computer-based depth measurement microscope

There are many methods for inspecting finished products after welding, and the following are commonly used:

4. Appearance inspection, welding penetration depth measurement

The appearance inspection of welded joints is a simple and widely used inspection method. The penetration depth of the weld seam is an important content of finished product inspection, and the weld seam width is mainly used to discover defects and dimensional deviations on the surface of the weld seam. Measurement of weld penetration is generally carried out through visual observation, using tools such as standard templates, gauges, and magnifying glasses. If there are defects on the surface of the weld, there is a possibility of defects inside the weld.

5. Effective penetration depth of weld seam for density inspection

For welding containers that store liquids or gases, the non dense defects of the weld seam are measured through the measurement of fusion width and depth, such as the penetration depth of penetrating cracks, pores, slag inclusions, incomplete penetration, and loose structures. Optical methods such as density testing can be used to detect the welding penetration depth of automotive component seat connectors. The density inspection methods include hot plate welding inspection for automotive parts: kerosene test, water loading test, and water impact test
