The correct use of infrared body thermometer in winter

Normal use of the temperature between 16 ℃ and 30 ℃ recommended for winter measurements in the room has been a project to study the temperature difference between the standard

A serious period of prevention, in schools, hospitals, enterprises and institutions to promote the use of the "watchman" infrared thermometer, but recently due to the "cold" temperature measurement deviation.

Because temperature changes on the infrared thermometer temperature measurement accuracy does have an impact, the weather turned cool, temperature measurement should try to do indoors.

Winter should be measured indoors Estimating the deviation is not scientific

China Academy of Measurement Sciences Thermal Engineering Institute, is engaged in temperature and other areas of measurement of scientific research and value transfer work of professional institutions.

According to Wang Tiejun, deputy director of the Institute of Thermal Engineering, changes in temperature will have a certain impact on the accuracy of the thermometer.

"Generally speaking, the pyrometer should be used in the range where the air temperature is between 16℃ and 30℃. If it is too cold or too hot, the measured temperature will deviate, but due to the different manufacturers of thermometers, there is no uniform data on the specific deviation." Wang Tiejun said it is unscientific for the measurer to estimate the temperature deviation himself.

He suggested that when using a thermometer, you should try to follow the temperature range specified in the manual. In addition, as the weather turns cooler, the thermometer should be placed indoors as much as possible, because outdoors, there will be a difference between the epidermal temperature of the human forehead and the temperature of the armpit.
