The difference between internal heating electric soldering iron and external heating electric soldering iron
In terms of structure:
First of all, there is a big difference in the structure of the soldering iron tip. The internal heating type soldering iron tip is hollow, because the heating core is built-in, and the external heating type soldering iron tip is solid core, and its heating core is external.
The external heating electric soldering iron is composed of a soldering iron tip, a soldering iron core, a shell, a wooden handle, a power lead, a plug and other parts. There are many specifications of external heating electric soldering irons, commonly used are 25W, 45W, 75W, 100W, etc. The higher the power, the higher the temperature of the soldering iron tip.
The internal heating electric soldering iron is composed of a handle, a connecting rod, a spring clip, a soldering iron core, and a soldering iron tip. The commonly used specifications of internal heating electric soldering iron are 20W and 50W. Due to its high thermal efficiency, a 20W internal heating soldering iron is equivalent to a 40W external heating soldering iron.
Usage:
The soldering iron head of the external heating type electric soldering iron is inside the heating core, which is also called an ordinary electric soldering iron. Soldering ordinary products, there is no requirement for temperature, use an external heating type electric soldering iron. Since the heating resistance wire is outside the tip of the soldering iron, most of the heat is dissipated to the external space, so the heating efficiency is low and the heating speed is slow. Generally, it takes 6 to 7 minutes to preheat before welding. Its volume is large, and it is inconvenient when soldering small devices. But it has the advantage that the soldering iron head can be used for a long time and has a large power.
Internal heating type electric soldering iron, the shape of the soldering iron tip used in the internal heating type electric soldering iron is a hollow cylinder, and the heating element is covered by the soldering iron tip, so that its heat is not easily dissipated into the air, so the heat utilization efficiency is higher and the warm-up time is shorter. Short, and the power generally does not need to be too large to meet the requirements. Generally, the internal heating power is below 50W, and the internal heating electric soldering iron of about 20W~30W is common. There are single handles and soldering stations. The 936 soldering station is a typical internal heat soldering iron, but it is also constant temperature. Now they are all lead-free soldering irons (lead-free soldering stations), which are better than the previous two.
