The Dissolved Oxygen Meter's Maintenance and Repair

As a professional device for measuring the dissolved oxygen content in water, the dissolved oxygen meter adopts the working principle that oxygen is reduced by the working electrode through the diaphragm, and at the same time generates a diffusion current proportional to the oxygen concentration, and then measures this current to determine The concentration of dissolved oxygen in the effluent. So as a professional equipment for measuring dissolved oxygen, what maintenance and maintenance precautions do you need to know about the dissolved oxygen meter? Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Dissolved oxygen electrode cleaning: The dissolved oxygen electrode should be cleaned regularly. Once there are pollutants on the diaphragm, there will be errors in the measurement results of the analyzer. At the same time, rinse the electrode with clean water, and be careful not to damage the diaphragm.

2. After using the dissolved oxygen electrode for about two to three months, it is recommended to re-calibrate it so that the zero point and range can be reset to ensure the accuracy of the measurement.

3. When the dissolved oxygen electrode leaks, the electrolyte should be replaced in time to avoid chain hazards.

4. When the measurement range of the dissolved oxygen electrode can no longer be adjusted, the dissolved oxygen electrode needs to be regenerated. Generally, the dissolved oxygen meter electrode needs to be regenerated once a year.

Calibration measurement is a critical step in the maintenance of dissolved oxygen analyzers. Generally, the standard solution calibration method or the on-site sampling calibration method are used for the calibration of the dissolved oxygen meter. In the standard liquid determination method, two calibration points, zero point calibration and span calibration, are generally used. When the on-site sampling calibration method is used, as the name suggests, it is to calibrate the dissolved oxygen analyzer on site. There are two situations when using this method to calibrate: the calibration and sampling readings are the same, then only need to adjust the meter reading to the assay analysis value. The other situation is that the meter reading during sampling is the analytical value of the test. When the meter is calibrated, the meter reading changes to another value. The reading and the laboratory analysis value are multiplied by the meter reading change value when the calibration is performed.
