Because the knife edge of the soldering iron tip can be effectively bonded to the pins of the SOP/TSSOP/LQFP package, it will be easier to handle during desoldering.
Safety precautions when using electric soldering iron

The newly used electric soldering iron should first check the insulation resistance between the power cord and the metal shell of the soldering iron, and it can be used only when it is normal.
In order to save costs, some manufacturers use plastic wires instead of flowery wires for the power cords of electric soldering irons, which poses a great safety hazard. It is recommended to replace it with flower thread, the fabric of flower thread is not easy to be scalded and damaged.
The electric soldering iron needs to be placed on the soldering iron stand, and it cannot be placed randomly, and the wire should not touch the tip of the soldering iron to avoid scalding the item and causing a fire.
The soldering iron should be kept dry, and do not hit the soldering iron during use to avoid damage.
Regularly check whether the power cord of the electric soldering iron is damaged, whether the terminal post in the handle of the electric soldering iron is loose, whether the insulation resistance is qualified, etc.
