The influence of DC power supply load effect

There are only two types of power sources in daily life: direct current and alternating current, and direct current power is a device that keeps the voltage in the circuit stable and constant. So how much do you know about the impact of DC power load effects?

1, Principle of Load Effect of DC Power Supply
The power output is stable, and when the DC power supply is in a constant voltage state, the output voltage changes according to the variation of the input voltage. The same applies to a constant current state, and the output current varies according to the change in current. Therefore, the concept of load effect can be used to measure this change.

If a resistive load is connected to the output terminal of the power supply, the output voltage of the DC power supply will decrease, and the change in output voltage proves to be a load effect, and its size will be adjusted accordingly according to the connected power supply.

Usually, there are two phenomena of load effect. On the one hand, the connections of the device or even the entire device will change. The second is to form a new whole, which retains the attributes of the original device but cannot express this function in the serial parallel expression of the source device.

2, How to reduce the impact of load effects?
(1) Place the high input and low output amplifiers at the earliest connection points. This can reduce the energy absorbed by previous connections, withstand changes in voltage output, and minimize the impact of overall load.

(2) Increase the output impedance of subsequent connection links.

(3) According to the principle of feedback or zero point measurement, the subsequent steps do not absorb any energy.
