The Process and Experience of Measuring Resistance with Universal Meter
The method of measuring resistance with a multimeter, the process of measuring resistance with a pointer multimeter, pay attention to selecting the gear to zero the resistance, sharing the experience of measuring resistance with a multimeter, according to the difference in the resistance error level, the difference between the reading and the nominal resistance value is allowed to be ±5 %, ±10% or ±20% error.
The process of measuring resistance with a pointer multimeter:
1. First select the gear position (there are ×1, ×10, ×100, ×1K, etc.), then directly touch the two test leads, adjust the zeroing resistance (you can rotate the potentiometer) so that the pointer points at the 0 ohm scale. (This step is called "resistance zeroing")
2. Then connect the two test leads to both ends of the resistance to be tested (note that this resistance should not be connected to other circuits), then the resistance value of the resistance is the multiple of the displayed value*.
Example: Use ×100 gear, the pointer points at the 20 scale, then the result is 20*100=2000 Euro.
Test experience:
1) Due to the non-linear relationship of the electric barrier scale; its middle section is more finely distributed, so the pointer indication value should fall as much as possible to the middle of the scale, that is, within the range of 20%-80% of the full scale. Make measurements more accurate.
According to the different levels of resistance error, errors of ±5%, ±10% or ±20% are allowed between the reading and the nominal resistance value. If it does not match and exceeds the error range, it means that the resistance has changed value. the
2) When testing, especially when measuring a resistance of tens of k ohms or more, do not touch the conductive part of the test lead and the resistance with your hands. The resistance to be tested must be welded off from the circuit, and at least one end must be welded to avoid the circuit. Other components affect the test and cause measurement errors. Although the resistance value of the color ring resistor can be determined by the color ring mark, it is best to use a multimeter to measure its actual resistance value when using it.
For the detection of cement resistance, since it is usually a fixed resistance, the method of detecting cement resistance is exactly the same as that of ordinary fixed resistance.
