The reason why the digital display test pen shows lightning

About the reasons why the digital display tester shows lightning, including the button description, the direct detection, indirect detection and breakpoint detection of the digital display tester, the tester is suitable for direct detection of 12-250v AC and DC and indirect detection of zero line and phase of AC lines and breakpoints.

The reason why the digital display test pen shows lightning

How to look at the digital test pen, sometimes it is a lightning symbol, sometimes it is a string of numbers behind a lightning.

1. Button description

(A key) DIRECT, direct measurement button (far away from the LCD screen), that is, when using the batch head to directly touch the line, please press this button;

(B key) INDUCTANCE, inductive measurement button (closer to the LCD screen), that is, when using the bit to sense the contact line, please press this button.

Note: Regardless of how to print on the electric pen, please recognize that the one farther from the LCD screen is the direct measurement key; the one closer to the LCD is the sensor key!

2. The scope of application of the test pen

It is suitable for direct detection of 12-250v AC and DC and indirect detection of neutral line, phase line and breakpoint of alternating current. It can also measure the continuity of dead conductors.

3. Direct detection

a. The last number is the measured voltage value; b. When the high-break display value is less than 70%, the low-break value is displayed; c. When measuring DC, touch the other pole;

4. Indirect detection: Press and hold the B key, and bring the batch head close to the power line. If the power line is charged, the display of the digital display pen will display a high voltage symbol.

5. Breakpoint detection: hold down the B key and move longitudinally along the wire, the place where there is no display in the display window is the breakpoint.

1. Why does the digital display test pen only display 12V, but it is actually 220V? There are two buttons, one is Direct Test, and the other is Induction Break-point?

1. The small window displayed by this test pen is a row of preset numbers, which are not intelligent displays. They are 12|36|55|110|220, which may be due to only paying attention to the front number and not paying attention to the numbers behind;

2. This kind of pen can only be judged by experience, it is not very accurate, that is, the numbers seen are for reference only, and most of them are displayed on both live and neutral lines, but they can still be compared based on the display, only by experience Accumulated to "barely" use; this kind of test pen is not recommended.

2. What does it mean that 12 36 55 appears on the digital display test pen?

A digital display test pen, the number 12 36 55 appears during the test, what does this mean?

12, 36, 55, and the last number is 220. This is the high and low range that represents the measured voltage. At this time, the voltage displayed is 55V. and so on. However, this digital display pen is not accurate and can only be used as a reference.

3. What does it mean when the test pen shows 12, 36, 55, 110, 220V?

The test pen measures 220v voltage, if it measures 110v voltage, it will display: "12, 36, 55, 110", and so on.
