First, the multimeter and capacitor have no capacity.
First of all, we must rule out whether the multimeter is faulty. What about him? The method of multimeter failure is to measure the resistance with a multimeter. If there is a standard resistance to measure the standard resistance, it may calibrate the electric block of the multimeter. Capacitor has no capacity, which can't be observed by naked eyes. If we use a multimeter without any response, then we need to replace a new capacitor and use a multimeter to measure it. If this capacitor has a response, then we can judge that the previous capacitor has no response because it has no capacity.
Second, the appropriate gear has not been selected.
Capacitance can be measured by using resistance file, capacitance file, pointer multimeter or digital multimeter. If pointer multimeter is used, we must choose a good moment. If the capacitance is large, we should try to choose a small resistance file, so that it is obvious when we observe the correction. If the capacitance is large and the gear is selected, the fluctuation is relatively small, and sometimes we can't find it with the naked eye.
If we choose a digital multimeter, we must first find a good gear to observe the numerical change. Generally, the capacitor will fluctuate when it is discharged, and then it is only the process of discharge, which shows that the capacitor is good.
Third, directly select the multimeter for measuring capacitance.
With the above experience, we can directly buy a multimeter that can measure the capacitance, set the multimeter to the capacitance file, put the red stylus on one foot and the black stylus on the other. Generally, the capacitance file of a multimeter has only one file, so it can be directly connected for measurement. If the capacitance is good, the capacitance value can be displayed directly on the screen, and the measured value will have a 5% error of the calibration value.
