The usage method of liquid crystal digital display induction measuring pen
First of all, when measuring the zero line of a live wire with an induction pen, if it is directly tested on the outer surface, it will light up and be on fire. The same applies to short circuits. When measuring along the wire, it should be close to the wire. However, induction pens are rarely used nowadays, and due to environmental factors, the results obtained are not very accurate!
① This type of measuring pen can not only measure AC 220V, but also 110V, even as low as 12V, and can also measure DC current. Please refer to the manual for specific usage methods, which will not be described here.
② The sensing distance is not very far, and I usually test it against the insulation skin of the wire. The live wire and zero wire twisted together must be separated, otherwise the measurement will not be accurate. I think it's enough to measure it against the outer skin, and it's not necessary to measure it even if it's too far away.
③ If you can separate each wire and know which one is broken, it's not like using a wire handle. It's still very convenient for the electric pen to stick to the outer skin of the wire to find the break point.
④ If it is a wire, it must be dispersed in order to measure the live wire without peeling off the outer skin.
The use of induction testing pens, like digital multimeter, requires continuous exploration and experience in practice in order to master effective testing methods and make them suitable for my use.
Operation Method of Digital Display Electric Pen
1. Immediate measurement method
The immediate measurement method refers to the measurement method where the camera of the measuring pen is directly in contact with the measured object to distinguish whether it is charged or not.
When applying the immediate measurement method, touch the metal material camera of the measuring pen with the measured object, and press the immediate precise measurement function key (DIRECT) with your hand;
If the measured object is electrified, the display light on the measuring pen will turn on. Additionally, the display will display information to measure the voltage level.
The general measuring pen can display information of 12V, 36V, 55V, 110V, and 220V. Under normal circumstances, the final displayed information value of the monitor is the measured voltage value.
2. Magnetic induction measurement method
Magnetic induction measurement method refers to the measurement method of using voltage magnetic induction to distinguish whether the measured object is live or not, by placing the camera of the measuring pen close to but not touching the measured object.
If the transmission line is electrified, the display of the measuring pen displays information and marks indicating the voltage;
If the power transmission line is disconnected in the middle and the display light goes out, the voltage marker disappears, indicating that there is a disconnection in the location.
The magnetic induction measurement method can locate the disconnected part of the insulated wire, and can also distinguish the live and zero wires of the insulated wire.
Electricity provides convenience to our daily lives, but it also carries risks. Therefore, it is recommended to hand over the problems related to electricity to technical professionals to solve, and do not try to be too brave.
