Tips for using a multimeter to repair weighing scales and electronic scales

Usage
1. Before use, carefully read the relevant user manual,
Familiar with the functions of power switches, range switches, sockets, and special sockets

2. Place the power switch in the ON position.

3. Measurement of AC/DC voltage: Turn the range switch to the appropriate range of DCV (DC) or ACV (AC) as needed, insert the red probe into the V/Ω hole, and the black probe into the COM hole. Connect the probe in parallel with the measured circuit, and the reading will be displayed.

4. Measurement of AC/DC current: Turn the range switch to the appropriate range of DCA or ACA, insert the red probe into the mA hole (<200mA) or 10A hole (>200mA), insert the black probe into the COM hole, and connect the multimeter in series in the tested circuit
. When measuring direct flow, the digital multimeter can automatically display polarity. 5. Measurement of resistance: Turn the range switch to the appropriate range of Ω, insert the red probe into the V/Ω hole, and the black probe into the COM hole. If the measured resistance value exceeds the maximum value of the selected range, the multimeter will display "1", and a higher range should be selected. When measuring resistance, the red probe is the positive pole and the black probe is the negative pole, which is exactly the opposite of a pointer type multimeter. Therefore, when measuring polarized components such as transistors and electrolytic capacitors, it is necessary to pay attention to the probe's position
Polarity.

Precautions for use
1. If it is not possible to estimate the magnitude of the measured voltage or current in advance, it should be set to the high range range for measurement first, and then gradually reduce the range to the appropriate position depending on the situation. After the measurement is completed, the range switch should be turned to the highest voltage position,
And turn off the power.

2. At full range, the instrument only displays the number "1" at the highest position, and all other bits disappear. In this case, a higher range should be selected.

3. When measuring voltage, a digital multimeter should be connected in parallel with the circuit being tested. When measuring current, it should be connected in series with the tested circuit
There is no need to consider the positive and negative polarity when measuring DC current.

4. When using the AC voltage range to measure DC voltage or the DC voltage range to measure AC voltage, the display screen will display "000" or the number on the low position will jump.

5. Prohibit measuring high voltage
When the voltage is above 220V or the current is above 0.5A, change the range to prevent arcing and burning the switch contacts.

6. When displaying "", "BATT" or "LOW BAT", it indicates that the battery voltage is lower than the operating voltage
