Usage of induction test pen
The induction measuring pen can measure both AC and DC electricity. When measuring a DC battery, you need to touch the other pole of the battery with your other hand. The range displays 12V, 24V, 36 √, 110V, and 220V. When measuring the presence or absence of electricity, the voltage can be directly displayed, using the same method as the old neon bubble pen. When measuring the cable break point, connect the suspected wire to the live wire and use the pen contact to move it against the cable. If there is no break, the pen will display 12V. When the break point is reached, the display will disappear, move back and forth, determine the position, and find the break point. This is the biggest advantage of the induction pen compared to the old neon bubble pen. However, remember to connect other wires to the neutral wire, otherwise, due to the induction effect, there will be electricity everywhere, and the break point may not be found. For high-quality new cables, it may not be possible to measure it.
