Usage Precautions for Flammable Gas Detectors

1. Choose a combustible gas detector equipment model that matches the construction environment of the job;

2. Correctly read the user manual of the combustible gas detector and determine its use according to the standardized sequence process;

3. Before use, it is important to check the concentration of combustible gases in the environment and the range of the combustible gas detector;

4. Combustible gas detectors cannot be tested with lighters;

5. Power on under normal environmental conditions in non hazardous areas;

6. When starting up and using, check if the battery is sufficient; Do not replace or charge the battery in dangerous areas, as this will damage the safety of the instrument itself and may lead to fire or explosion;

7. Do not use butane lighters that ignite cigarettes to test the response of combustible gas sensors, as doing so will damage the sensors;

8. Do not immerse the gas detector in liquid; Pay attention to the detection interference between different sensors and the electromagnetic interference of the surrounding environment, which may affect the measurement accuracy;

9. When the gas detector issues a low power alarm, immediately replace the battery;

10. Pay attention to multiple and different location measurements, keep good records to ensure the scientificity of the measurements, and make the measurement data more convincing.

After construction, it is necessary to check and debug whether the combustible gas detector can still work normally, ensure that the combustible gas detector and alarm are in normal working condition, correctly record the values of all combustible gas detectors, follow the instructions in the manual, turn off and tidy up correctly, place them in the correct position, and ensure that they can be used normally next

time.
